Overview

By partnering with the City University of New York (CUNY), employers can become a talent maker that invests in a more diverse, high-performing workforce. The CUNY Industry Support Hub enhances your partnership efforts with a single contact and helps you navigate and scale your impact across our campuses, with proven ways to engage students and faculty more meaningfully.

What incentives are there for my company to partner with CUNY?

Recruiting from CUNY is an investment in New York City:

  • We are nearly four times the size of the next largest New York City university.
  • We account for greater than 20 percent of all higher education students in New York State.
  • We serve 235,000 degree-seeking students and 150,000 non-degree students.
  • More than 50 percent of our students have real-world work experience before graduation.

Some employers may qualify for a subsidized internship program whereby CUNY provides wages for interns at their organization. There is an application process and restrictions apply.

How soon can my company be connected to talent?

Our team is available year-round for partnership exploration. Please note that there are fewer students on campuses during the summer months and breaks between semesters.

What skills and credentials will talent have?
