Professional development, mentoring, and networking services for men of color to become teachers.

Join this fully supportive program in order to become a teacher. This program will meet you where you are. Whether a CUNY student or a career shifter, this program will help you find a pathway to teaching that is right for you.

Who it's for Who it's for

To apply to a pathway program, you must:

  • Currently enrolled CUNY Student who is accepted into, or intends to apply to, a CUNY Teacher Education program
  • Interested in a degree program to become a certified teacher in New York State
  • Academically qualified with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Experience working/volunteering in urban communities
  • Have already completed 12 credits toward an associate degree or 24 credits toward a bachelor’s degree, or be currently enrolled in a CUNY graduate teacher education program
