SYEP helps NYC youth ages 14–24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences.
Young New Yorkers can get paid during the summer to explore their interests and career pathways, develop workplace skills, and engage in learning experiences. Participants will develop social, civic, and leadership skills through their work-experience program.
You are eligible to apply if you:
- Live in NYC
- Are 14-24 years old
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
SYEP happens in the summer, with hours depending on the program you choose.
