The Partnership for Inclusive Internships connects people with disabilities to career development and internship opportunities at a variety of New York City agencies.
This program connects you to internships in these fields:
- Data entry and analysis
- Clerical aide, accounting
- Architecture
- Human services
- IT
- Research
- Public policy
Participants will receive one-on-one support and have access to monthly events for opportunities to network, engage on career topics, and more.
Participating City agencies include:
- NYC Department of Social Services
- NYC Department of Parks
- Department of Homeless Services
- Human Resources Administration
- Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA)
- NYC Housing Preservation & Development
- NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services
- NYC Department of Transportation
You must meet the requirements below to be eligible:
- be ages 18 and older
- be a person with a disability
- have an open case with ACCES-VR or NYSCB
Next Steps
Applications must have the following information and documents:
- Internship Title or Titles you are interested in applying for
- Cover Letter indicating the position that you are applying for and why you are qualified for the internship
- Resume
- The name of the person who referred you to the PII Program, as well as the name of your ACCES-VR or NYSCB counselor.
